The Sumter Soccer Club will be offering Summer Training. The training will last 6 weeks and will be 3 days a week starting June 7th. Trainings will be on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6pm to 8pm at the Summit Training Grounds on Highway 521 North. Below is more information on the Summer Training. The training will be very affordable. Coach Travis Disher will be the training coach. Do not miss the chance to get excellent training at an affordable price.

Every practice will have warm up, fitness, skills (touches on the ball), technical work, games
Week 1
- Work on touches, passing and receiving try to get the players back into playing
Week 2
- Focus on defending. Basic defending. Work on different defending scenarios. Work on and explain how every position has to play defense. Work on tactically and technically defending
Week 3
- Movement off the ball. How to find the ball. How to get open. How to position yourself to receive the ball.
Week 4
- Attacking. Work on attacking play. Work on being creative and using imagination. Work on bringing numbers into the attack. Work on building an attack
Week 5
- Finishing. Work on finishing from different angles. Finishing with both feet. Different types of shots. PKs and Free kicks. First time finishing, heading, touch and finish, long shots, and finishing off the dribble.
Week 6
- Tactics, touches, passing and receiving. Looking at the game more tactically. Taking the players and showing them the tactical side of the game. Work on touches, passing and receiving.
